What are the Military Explorers?

The Military Explorers is a Boy Scouts of America sponsored program for young men and women ages 14 (and have completed the 8th grade) through 20 years old. There is also an Expoloring Club for youth in 6th to 8th grade.
The purpose of the Military Explorers program is to provide real world career experiences and develop critical skills necessary for success in any branch of the United States Armed Forces and in life.
Our purpose is to help our youth grow both mentally and physically through the United States Military training practies.

Military Explorers participate in many activities:

  • Flag Etiquette and Patriotism

It is the mission of the Explorer Military Cadet Program to encourage growth in today’s youth, both mentally and physically, through the means of the United States Military establishment.
Americas future lies in her youth, and these youth must strive for continuous growth and wisdom through their self-determination and education. The Explorer Military Cadet Program will provide that means of education through activities and events that will strive to build, self-esteem, moral character, leadership, teamwork, and positive growth experiences.
The Explorer Military Cadet Program strives to accomplish these positive and educational training opportunities by utilizing those resources provided by individuals and the communities they belong to. Through coordinated efforts with local organizations and their members, the Explorer Military Cadet Program will succeed in bringing about quality opportunities for growth.
The Explorer Military Cadet Program therefore reaffirms its dedication and commitment to today’s youth, in whom, tomorrow’s future lies.
